Bumper crop of new pictures

Thanks to our ace snapper John Lines, we have a batch of new pictures to share, showing how many aspects of the stadium are now moving along rapidly. Above is the completed main stand, with it’s back paneling and roof in place.

The view from the main stand towards the clubhouse.

The view from the main stand towards the far end and its ‘behind the goal’ covered stand.

The far end stand also has its back panels and roof in place.

Clubhouse building with brickwork starting to emerge and its steel framework in place.

Ancillary building progressing well, with a lot of the brickwork now complete.

The community pitch, all complete and looking resplendent with its lines marked out!

Hi Bill. The main stand has 307 seats (57 more than needed for FA ground grading requirements up to National League South level) and we have to balance what we have with the constraints of the site and planning approval. The most important thing to remember is that we will have our own home again and that is something to be excited about!

        1. And presumably at some point there’s the potential for extension. The main thing after all this time is the homecoming.

  1. It’s been along time coming.
They should look to see how many players from the past are contactable and invite them down on the first game of the season.
