Buildings Update

Two pictures showing the latest stage of development of the buildings at Hop Oast. The one above is the clubhouse with the main entrance directly in front, and incorporating the bar, changing rooms, office, cafe and club shop. Below is the ancillary building, the exterior of which is virtually complete and which will house toilets at the front, a laundry and storage area and plant storage space.

For contrast, below are two pictures taken exactly one year ago, which show just how far this fantastic project has come in a very short time!

  1. I’ve been making visits to Hop Oast twice a month taking photos and apart from the fact that I don’t like football being played on an artificial surface, the ground is going to be somewhere to be proud of calling ‘Home’ for Horsham FC and us supporters.

  2. I didn’t used to have a very good opinion of artificial playing surfaces myself . However having watched Horsham down at Lancing over the last couple of seasons I have been impressed . The new 3G pitches are so much better than the artificial pitches I remember from the 80’s . The game on grass at East Grinstead was called off today , waterlogged pitch . Need I say more !
