We’re looking to recruit a cook (or cooks)!

In preparation for the opening of Hop Oast Stadium, Horsham FC is looking to appoint one or more part-time cooks. If the following information is of interest, we’d love to hear from you.

Horsham Football Club has been at the heart of the community for 137 years, bringing the town to national prominence through its FA Cup exploits against Notts County, Swindon Town and, most recently, Swansea City. Once the stadium at the Hop Oast is complete, all of our first and other team home games will be played at this new, purpose-built stadium.

The clubhouse will form the centre-piece of the long-awaited new home for the Club in the town. The building will comprise a dividable function suite with a professional kitchen as well as a bar, Sky TV, state-of-the-art dressing room facilities for home and away teams and officials, a reception area, club office and a small retail unit for sales of Club merchandise.

Job Purpose: To manage the preparation, cooking and serving of good-quality food for supporters, hirers, guests and other users of the Club’s facilities and to preserve and enhance Horsham FC’s reputation as a prestigious and welcoming venue.

Key requirements of the role:  These include, but are not limited to, promoting the growth of the Club’s catering operation, preparing food to the highest of standards, operating an external snack bar, leading a team when required, training staff, complying with food hygiene safety controls, maximising customer satisfaction, cash handing, use of EPOS, waste control, preparation of staff rotas with the Stadium Manager, stock ordering and management.
